Top picks for E3 2011

Top 5 E3 2011 Video Games

1. Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception.
This was my top pick due to the fact that I love the Uncharted series and this looks freakin amazing. The trailer gave me chills and it looks so intriguing, and the game-play looks beautiful and with all the crazy cinematic game-play, just really rocked my socks off. The story looks like it will be very interesting and will probably have me playing night and day, just like UC2 did for me. And I also loved the multiplayer in UC2 but felt like they could do so much more to it, and in UC3 they do exactly that and more. The customization to your character, guns, logo, etc. looks insane, and I can't wait to get started on my personal arsenal.

2. Mass Effect 3
I shouldn't really have to explain why this game is in my top, the name just speaks for itself. But I am so excited for this game, when it was first announced I was hooked right away. I love the series and it does not look like it's getting dole what so ever, which is pretty impressive, its tough to do a fantastic trilogy, but if anyone can do it, Bioware can. Mass Effect 3 also showed that it will support Kinect, with voice recognition. For example you can command your group to use certain moves at certain times. Also when your given dialogue choices, instead of clicking you just say it. Which is neat but I don't think its something that will make me buy Kinect. But Mass Effect 3 continues to carry character data over ,which is the coolest feature in video games in my opinion. I can't wait to get my hands on the final chapter in the Mass Effect series.

3. Bioshock: Infinite
I don't think its any secret that Bioshock looks amazing, hands down one of the best games I've ever seen, not only graphics but the game-play as well. Games like this make me proud to be a gamer, just having so much awesomeness to look forward to feels great. I love the whole revision of the series, Columbia looks incredible and simply breath-taking. And from what I saw, the weapon/plasmid collection looks also impressive. I can't explain in words how excited I am for this, Ken Levine is a genius and I love his work. I can not wait until I can play this for myself.

4. RAGE
RAGE is another game that is freakin beautiful, from the awesome looking environment, to the incredibly smooth frame-rate. This is yet another title that is making me save every penny, just so I can max this puppy out when it releases. The weapons in this game looks like their so much fun to use, especially the mind-control bullets. The combat looks like its fluent, smooth and sturdy. I love FPS shooters but its been a little while since one has really rocked my world. I have a feeling RAGE will change that for me and many gamers.

5. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
It was very hard for me deciding on whether I was more excited for Skrim or RAGE. And by the end I just kinda randomly chose. but let me just say that this game could not look any more "Epic". The new engine looks amazing, from the character models to the beautiful world in Skyrim, this game is just very breath-taking. The game-play looks freakin sweet. I love the whole, you skill up as you go along rather than picking a class at the start of the game. The thing that will really define your characters class is the talent trees they offer which look pretty darn impressive. I am very happy with the way the game is turning out so far. I'm just counting the days till I can hold this game in my hands.

Keep in mind that, these are not the only games I am looking forward too, I just had to make a quick top 5, but there are some amazing looking titles that I am stoked for, here is a list of a few:

Batman: Arkham City
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Rayman: Origins
Battlefield 3
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Gears of War 3
Star Wars the Old Republic
Prey 2
Super Mario 3DS
Luigi's Mansion 2
